Casa Américo Touriga Nacional grapes are from two plots located in the village of Gouveia. The vines are 40 years old with yields around 4ton/ha, altitude of 600m high and we select only the best grapes to the final blend.
The palate is intense and full bodied, and it has a long and spicy finish.

The palate is intense and full bodied, and it has a long and spicy finish. Has an intense ruby color.

Harmonious aroma with notes of berries and spices.

The grapes were carefully selected in the vineyard and then crushed and destemmed to a granite traditional «lagar». During the fermentation, the wine was assembled gently by foot treading with temperature control by endogenous plates. After the fermentation, it aged for 10 months in both new and second year barrels. After the bottling a minimum of 2 years in the bottle before its release.
